“Where’s Olive? Have you seen her? Olive!”

I must ask this question a dozen times daily, and here’s the snapshots to show why. Why silence is not necessarily a good thing in our home. Why Olive at almost three still requires 15 hours of sleep each day and a stuffed monkey leashed to her back and my arm when in large public spaces. Why putting your precious or dangerous things “out of children’s reach” is never quite enough.

  1. Also funny to mention that the photo of her in her bathing suit upside down happend like two days ago, when it was 40 degrees outside:) Surely this all means that she will be the most fun to be around always!

  2. I’m delighted you captured some of her activities on film…she might think we”re stretching the truth when she gets older. To know Olive is to love her!

  3. Yes, both important notes. She wears bathing suits year round; makes everyone laugh; and love goes a long way with little Oli.

  4. makes me miss the days of living with y’all even more; no longer do i have the anticipating worry over whether one of my roommates is hiding my deodorant, using my toothbrush, or blithely opening my door at 7am to curl up in bed with me. oh, olive.
