HOMESCHOOL

A few years ago, I began this project as a snapshot of days at home, a birds-eye view of our month of learning without parameters or expectations or lengthy passages to accompany them. They are simply a glimpse, another net for catching the days here. I know more than ever that it is the ordinary moments, the bits that feel monotonous or even difficult, “normal” and ordinary that I will look back on and see as being the most miraculous. This year, I have hired my talented sister Kristen to come on a random day in the month and take notice of what she sees, with a few personal notes of things I want to remember. Currently, Mark is homeschooling here two days a week while I work to develop my own business, and I’m grateful to feature him more this month since he’s essential to how our home keeps afloat. All to say, enjoy these snippets!
