happy 35th birthday, love.

FAMILY, FOOD, GATHERINGS, MARRIAGE, MOTHERHOOD

It really is a wonderful life. And we all wanted to make sure you remembered, so this is how we celebrated you this year on your 35th. You also received many written words of life and encouragement from friends and family there and elsewhere, along with several pieces of art created by friends.

It was beautiful.

And here’s a better look at the crowd, consuming an impressive 35 lbs. of BBQ, 5 lbs. of potato salad, more pounds of greens, beans, and watermelon, 50+ homemade ice cream sandwiches, just shy of a hundred beers (the “good” beer along with the “crap” beer), 3 liters of white sangria, 2 gallons of ice tea, and lots of water for hydration.
