instructions for living

Instructions for living a life.
Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.
― Mary Oliver, Something

I’ve been thinking about this poem lately, a timely reminder for me to slow down and pay attention to the ordinary miracles I encounter daily. I wish you all a wonderful weekend–go and be astonished in some unexpected way by the ordinary.

Aren’t they? I guess that’s the magic of poetry–a less is more mentality with words. And thank you for you compliments on the space. I really love it. x
